“ Went to this cute little cafe on a recommendation from a coworker. Unfortunately we missed breakfast by a few minutes and had hoped they had brunch but we're told they stopped serving brunch. So we stayed and had lunch. It was a little fancier than what we are used to but pretty delicious. I had thr toasted grilled cheese with fontana, artichoke hearts and pepers with the aioli on the side and I couldnt eat the orzo pasta as I have an intolerance to olive oil. Sad! Hubby had an open face tomato and mozzarella sandwich which he said was delicious. Super cute place in a very quaint downtown Pacific Grove main street. Worth the visit if you are in town. ”

“ We had such fond memories of RHC from over 10 years ago! We came back with our teen kids. We came in for brunch around 11am. It was kind of crowded, but we were seated outside without having to wait. Again, they took our drink orders right away. We ordered a latte and a lemonade. Those were brought out very quickly. Our food came out perfectly cooked. The egg benedicts were on toasted croissants, with perfectly poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce. The sauce is thinner than what we make at home but it's just as good! The oven toasted potatoes are seasoned well - we all had the side of potatoes! The frittata was a large serving - my daughter couldn't finish it so we packed it up for home. It had lots of veggies - artichoke, spinach, roasted red peppers, cheese. I had a bite and it was delicious! We'll definitely return when we're in the area! ”

“ Cozy spot for brunch. It's really cute inside though tight in some areas. Very spacious outside but we opted to eat indoors because it was quite chilly. Debated on what to order and went for the crab cake benedict. It was different as it was served on a croissant. My friend had gotten a side of their yummy salsa and when I asked for a side, it seemed they were going to charge for it. We ended up sharing hers and I actually preferred the benedict for bottled hot sauce instead. Everything was tasty, but since the crab cake and croissant don't have much texture, it was a bit of a mushy dish. Potatoes were cooked fine as well, but do wish there was a little bit more flavor to them. I liked that they had a choice of guava for mimosa and they bring you the entire mini bottle of prosecco which was nice. Overall, a great little spot for brunch. ”

“ First time in the area and was brought here by a friend. Really solid brunch spot. The vibe outside was really nice, and our waitress was super kind. Of course the food was delicious too. We got the chorizo and eggs and pancakes, both delicious. It's no surprise this place is popular. Definitely would come again if I'm in the area. ”

“ I have been here once for brunch, once for lunch, and once for dinner. It was one of my sister's and niece's favorite restaurants when visiting this area. It is definitely worth the try, and I will be back. It has a very small & cozy interior, but they were even able to accommodate a group of 10 of us one evening, so they can make things work. People sitting at tables near us seemed to be regulars, and were highly complimentary of the restaurant, which is always a good sign. My niece's favorite dish, the spinach & cheese raviolis with a Lemon Buerre Blanc sauce was delicious! This is only served at dinner, we found, and the restaurant is not open on Sundays or Mondays for dinner, so be aware of their hours if heading over. They have different chefs during the day vs. night, so there is not overlap in the types of food they make at the different meals. We drove for almost two hours each way for her to get the raviolis again while she was visiting, only to realize at the last moment that we had to switch to a brunch menu, as they were not giong to be open later. We had guava mimosas, which were also delicious! For lunch, I had the spinach salad, which was good, but nothing I would rush back for. For brunch, I had the ham benedict which was served on a croissant, rather than an english muffin, which was different, and very tasty. It came with seasoned, roasted potatoes, which normally I love, but the potatoes tasted quite watery, so I don't know if they were left in a pot too long, or...? A couple of things that could be improved upon: 1) We ate at the outdoor tables for brunch (in December!). It was a lovely day - a bit cool, but nice to have the fresh air. They are wrought-iron tables. The problem with these is, if your water glass is sweating beads of moisture, all of that is going to drip onto your legs, through the table. If you put the container of catsup on the table that you poured onto your potatoes, it may start dripping down the side of the container onto your clothing. If you have a syrup container that has a slow drip on the side, it may also end up on your clothing. A table cloth or different types of tables would be better suited for dining. And, for some reason, as it was not that windy, the table, umbrella, and a chair were knocked sideways to the ground -- obviously from the wind catching the umbrella just right, but that created a mess. Luckily the diners had very recently vacated the table. 2) There is one bathroom for men or women. If, as when I was just there, there is someone taking an extra long time, there was a line of people through the small restaurant waiting. I would not want to be at one of the tables that has people lined up along it hovering. It is also not convenient, if you cannot get to a restroom in a timely manner. It has an open window looking out at the patio and diners, which is a little uncomfortable. 3) If you are very hungry, the portions are slightly on the smaller side. Actually, they are probably normal-sized, but with so many places that give huge portions, if you are very hungry, or hadn't had anything else to eat that day, you might feel you need a little more. Overall, it is a very cute restaurant, with different dishes, that I would definitely come back to explore! I would certainly recommend this restaurant. ”

“ This is still a great place for breakfast. We still have not tried them for lunch or dinner. Service is good. Noise level is usually quiet yo average. The fruit bowl and standard egg, bacon/sausage toast, potato breakfast is still good. It is a little pricier than comparable breakfast places in the area but you are paying for the nicer ambiance. They still get crowded shortly after open at 8:00 but there usually not a wait even when they are busy. ”
